Madeleine Putnam was born in Kjipuktuk [Halifax] in 2000. Her art practice ranges between sculpture, textiles, and painting. The subject matter of her pieces varies, but her eye is always turned towards the hidden forces embedded in the tangible and the familiar. In 2022, she graduated from NSCAD University with an Interdisciplinary BFA, and is now based out of Tio'tia:ke [Montreal].
