Madeleine Putnam was born in Kjipuktuk [Halifax] in 2000. Their art practice ranges between sculpture, textiles, and painting. The subject matter of their pieces varies, but their eye is always turned towards the hidden forces embedded in the tangible and the familiar. In 2022, they graduated from NSCAD University with an Interdisciplinary BFA, and is now based out of Tio'tia:ke [Montreal].
